The camera features a 1/2.5" 5.0 megapixel CMOS sensor and can provide 7 frames per second at full resolution, or 90 frames per second at VGA resolution. The sensor features a 2.2 µm pixel pitch and is capable of 12-bit output.

· Auto&Semi-Auto Calibration option: Auto and semi-auto calibration functions allow the software to automatically calculate the pixels-per-unit value. You only need to set the unit for the calibration scale and the distance between the scale marks. This feature greatly improves the accuracy measurements and speeds repeat measurements.

· Line Profiling: Single, multiple, parallel and polyline commands provide Gray/Red/Green/Blue intensity values for specific lines within an image. The profile data of each pixel on the line can be exported to Microsoft® Excel.

· Image Processing: Manual Brightness, Contrast, Gamma, Background Subtraction, Histogram, Clone, Crop, ROI, Resize, Rotate, Split, Image Mode Change, Grayscale, RGB, HSB, YUV Pseudo Color view, Full range of enhancement and morphology filters 8bit and 16bit per channel

Note: To use the Ex USB microscopy camera in a hazardous area, the device must be protected to at least IP 65, so it must be placed inside the enclosure.

The Ex USB microscopy camera is connected through an industrial USB 2.0 connector to an intrinsically safe barrier Ex USB 2.0.

The Ex USB microscopy camera have a “hot-plug” function which allows them to be connected and disconnected without stopping, shutting down or rebooting the system.
